Codecs from phones are notoriously hard to work with, & gaming captures notoriously buggy. you might have a fair editing experience, again, depends on source video formats. However the may be a way to add or "hack" it to accepted GPUs if Premiere is being picky. ![]() **If Premiere says it can do "software only" editing mode, it's not using your GPU for OpenCL acceleration. Be sure to load the latest drivers you can get for your GPU. If it won't do OpenCL acceleration, all basic fx fall to your CPU to create, and you'll have to stop & render before watching playback at normal speed, or set your preview image to very low quality to avoid rendering. IDK if a GPU that old will offer OpenCL acceleration which is crucial for smooth realtime playback of simple fx like titles, transitions, scaling, lumetri color correction. ![]() A lot will depend on the material that you are trying to edit, and you may have to resort to proxy workflow to edit smoothly.
